Lumi on ensimmäinen huivi, jonka olen neulonut näinkin paksusta (fingering weight) langasta. Malli on nätti ja yksinkertainen. Ei ihan tv-neule, mutta ei vaadi erityisesti keskittymiskykyä. Lanka on Titityyn lankaklubin 2. lähetys. Jäljelle jäi vielä kolmas kerä, huivi kulutti 95 grammaa. Valmistuminenkin ajoittui sopivasti, koska Titityyn klubin kolmas lähetys saapui tänään päivällä. Sen esitteleminen saa jäädä loppuviikkoon, jotta kaikki ehtivät saada pakettinsa.

Lumi is the first shawl I've knitted using fingering weight yarn, I've previously tried cobweb and lace. The pattern is simple and pretty. Not mindless enough for tv-knitting project, but close. The yarn is from Titityy's yarn club, second installment. I have one ball left, the shawl used 95 grams. The finish date was excellent, because I got club's third packet in today's post. I'm showing it to you later this week when I'm sure everyone has got theirs.

Merkintä jää lyhyeksi, koska kuvaaja kommentoi minun muistuttavan Jeesusta ristillä ylläolevassa kuvassa. Hän epäilee teidän uskovan kuvan perusteella että olen neulonut koko edellisen yön ja viimeisillä voimillani esittelen huivia blogia varten. Totuus ei ole kumpikaan näistä teorioista, olen viettänyt päivän sairaalassa lapsen kanssa tutkimuksissa ja loppuviikko tulee olemaan sitä samaa, joten olen oikeastikin vähän nuutunut. Old Way Gansey on ihan aluillaan ja tähän mennessä tykkään paljon Novitan Luxus Cloudin neulomisesta. Väliaikatietoja seuraa myöhemmin.

This post will be short, because my photographer commented I looked like Jesus on the cross in the picture above. He thinks you'll believe I have knitted the shawl all night long and I'm modelling it for blog with my last strength. Neither is true, I've spent all day in hospital with my son and the examinations will continue for the rest of the week, so I'm feeling a bit down and tired. Old Way Gansey is on the needles and I like knitting with Novita Luxus Cloud so far. I'll give you a report later.
